Meet Maya
Shalom, I’m Maya. I bring more than two decades of experience in education, including teaching at the Rashi School and JCDS.
I created The Hebrew Program to give children a personal connection to Hebrew through small-group learning. I get to know each student’s strengths, interests and learning style, then help them build confidence through meaningful practice.
My approach combines authentic language, empathy and positive reinforcement. Every child deserves to feel seen, supported and proud of their progress.

התוכנית לעברית הינה תוכנית מעשית שמכשירה את התלמידה לתפקד בחיי היום יום בעברית. התוכנית מתמקדת בלימוד ובפיתוח מיומניות הקריאה, הבנת הנקרא וכתיבה, יחד עם דגש על פיתוח היכולת התקשורתית היומיומית. ההוראה מתבצעת בשימוש בתכנים אותנטיים ומעשיים שחושפים את התלמידה לתרבות הישראלית, למסורת, להסטוריה, ולהווי הישראלי. כל הלמידה הינה אורגנית ונעשית באוירה רגועה וריאלית בכדי ליצור חוויה חיובית, מהנה ויעילה.

Learning Groups\קבוצות לימוד
הלמידה נעשית דרך חלוקה לקבוצות קטנות על פי מספר פרמטרים והיבטיים אישיותיים כגון מוטיבציה, מעורבות, מיומנות ועוד. הלמידה בקבוצות קטנות מעמיקה את תחושת השייכות, את ערך הקבוצה ואת ערך השונות. התכנים מותאמים אישית לכל תלמיד ותלמידה, וכך מבטיחים למידה אפקטיבית ומהנה שמניבה ביטחון ותוצאות.

In the Hebrew program, we believe in students who have a positive self-perception and a sense of accomplishment. During our in-person sessions, language learning is approached through enjoyable and experiential methods. The distinctive approach of the new Hebrew program prioritizes the individual student. Our role is to support, guide, and facilitate their progress throughout the entire journey.
